Each year the West returns store profits back to the community in the form of grants to qualified charitable organizations in the Tucson community. 2023 grantees include the following organizations:

CANDLELIGHTERS CHILDHOOD CANCER FOUNDATION OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA: Formed in 1985, Candlelighters supports, serves, and advocates for children and adolescents with cancer and other blood disorders, their families, long term survivors, bereaved families, and the professionals that care for them. https://candlelightersaz.org

CHILDREN’S ADVOCACY CENTER OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA: Established in 1996, the Center provides a safe, compassionate, healing environment for children who have been a victim or witness to a crime. https://www.cacsoaz.org/

EAGLES WINGS OF GRACE: A faith-based organization formed in 2007, their mission is to improve the capabilities of women to be economically independent. They provide a network of support and professional attire to restore dignity, purpose and hope, moving from devastation to destiny. https://eagleswingsofgrace.org/

EMERGE CENTER AGAINST DOMESTIC ABUSE: Emerge provides the opportunity to create, sustain, and celebrate a life free from abuse. https://emergecenter.org/

ERIK HITE FOUNDATION: Founded in 2011, the Erik Hite Foundation supports Southern Arizona’s first responders and their families by providing extended hours childcare/early education, summer camp scholarsips, and adult life skills training and counseling for challenges associated with first responder high-risk occupations. https://erikhitefoundation.org/

MOBILE MEALS OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA: Began in 1968, as a project of Meals on Wheels, their mission is to deliver nutritious meals to people in Southern Arizona through a network of caring individuals. https://mobilemealssoaz.org/

MORE THAN A BED: Established in 2014, More Than a Bed provides essential items to foster, kinship, and adoptive families for the children in their homes including those in a congregate care setting, because every child deserves to be valued. https://morethanabed.org/

OUR FAMILY SERVICES: Created in 2005, Our Family’s mission is to eliminate homelessness and strengthen our community. https://www.ourfamilyservices.org/

SISTER JOSÉ WOMEN’S CENTER: Sister José is dedicated to the care and nurture of women experiencing homelessness in a welcoming and safe environment. https://www.srjosewomensshelter.org/

THERAPEUTIC RIDING OF TUCSON (TROT): Founded in 1974, TROT’s mission is to enrich the lives of people with special needs using equine assisted activities and therapies to improve physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. https://trotarizona.org/

TUCSON CANCER CONQUERORS (TCC): TCC is an organization whose mission is to provide social activities and support to those affected by cancer, or caring for someone with cancer, by offering them wellness and wholeness for the journey. https://tucsoncancerconquerors.org/

TUCSON COMMUNITY TENNIS PROGRAM (TCTP): Established in 1993, the Tucson Community Tennis Program is Tucson’s only non-profit organization bringing free tennis to elementary through high school children. TCTP’s focus is on underserved schools where funding is limited and access to tennis instruction is absent. https://tctp.org/

WHEELS FOR KIDS: Founded in 2007, Wheels for Kids’ mission is to collect used bikes, completely overhaul them, ensure they work well, look good, and are safe to operate – and then, through partner charitable organizations, give them to low income, distressed, or underprivileged kids, teens, and adults in greater Tucson. https://www.azwfk.org/

YOUTH ON THEIR OWN (YOTO): Established in 1986, YOTO is a dropout prevention program that supports the high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness in Pima County. https://yoto.org/
